Our WELL REGARDED employer based in Harrogate is now seeking a PURCHASE LEDGER ASSISTANT to join their established team. This is an opportunity for someone to be involved in various tasks within the department and develop in their knowledge.

Duties will include:
  • Processing high volume of supplier stock invoices on Sage, including matching invoices/delivery notes.
  • Reconciling supplier statements against invoices.
  • Assisting with incoming telephone calls to Accounts and handle/resolve any purchase ledger queries.
  • Liaising with various departments to resolve any discrepancies relating to prices/delivered quantities.
  • Assisting Credit Control with incoming calls relating to customer accounts/queries.
  • Assist with Processing supplier payment runs, based on approved invoices and within payment terms.
  • Assisting with reconciling bank accounts.
  • Dealing with timesheets.
  • Working within Sage 200 plus various Microsoft Office packages.


Experience required:
  • Ideally seeking individuals with experience in Purchase Ledger, alternatively relevant qualifications in finance.
  • Confident manner.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate both in verbally and in writing.
