An opportunity to join a growing, Hammersmith based award winning leader within the Leisure industry has emerged for an experienced credit controller with fluency in at least one Nordic language to join their team they look to expand their international presence.

With excellent transport links, along with brand new, highly desirable offices, you will report to the credit control manager and have responsibility for:

• Develop fit-for-purpose procedures and processes for the new international markets, building on existing ones where appropriate

• Build an adequately resourced international balance collections team with appropriate language skills with 1-2 direct reports initially (but with potential for further growth)

• Analyse bookings and understand markets in order to develop an appropriate shift pattern for the team

• Liaise with the Balance Collections Manager for UK / Ireland (and her team) based in Lancing

• You will allocate International workload / queues between team members on a daily basis

• Ensure cash is received in a timely manner

• Follow up on overdue balances from customers via email and telephone

• Take payments over the phone

• Arrange sensible payment schedules with the customer within the bounds of Company policy

• Deal professionally with the customers at all times

• Take the lead on international chargeback process looking at ways to minimise losses

• Ensure best practice and continuous improvement of controls, policies and procedures within the balance collection function

• Prepare mail-merge legal letters where appropriate

• Prepare weekly International KPI reports and present to the Financial Controller

• Ad-hoc project work as required
