My client is looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join them at their stunning new offices in Southampton.

Client Details

My client is a medium sized business and have just moved into new offices in Southampton (parking included)

Description
  • Processing a share of the approximate volume of 16,500 invoices per annum managed by the department
  • Entering supplier invoices into Sage accounts system
  • Ensure that purchase invoices are coded / allocated correctly in line with internal guidelines
  • Match purchase orders delivery notes to invoices
  • Reconcile supplier statements to purchase ledger
  • Communicate with suppliers regarding expected payment dates
  • Investigating and resolving invoice and payment queries for suppliers
  • Account for staff expense forms
  • Make supplier and staff expense payments

Profile

The right candidate will have worked in a high volume processing environment and exposure to Sage would be ideal, but not essential.
