Cobham Aerospace Connectivity are looking for a Engineering Sales Support. This role is to Manage the Newmarket Product Portfolio, supporting product data and input into Product Marketing. Drive the development of the new product database. Working towards product technical support to sales.

This role is based in Newmarket, Suffolk

Our technology
Cobham Aerospace Connectivity design and manufacture active and passive avionics antennas and electronic control systems for military and civil communications, navigation and search and rescue applications. We pioneered frequency agile VHF tuneable antennas and continue to be a key supplier to major avionics companies. Our GPS anti-jam technology utilises state of the art DSP algorithms with an active antenna to eliminate both narrow-band and wide-band jamming signals. We have world leading technology in Ground Penetrating Radar and RF interference mitigation. Both military and civil users rely on our direction finding systems for search and rescue operations.

As a Engineering Sales Support your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • Appropriate engineering qualifications and advantage.
  • Experience of RF Engineering.
  • Working in a fast paced product development business.
  • Product marketing experience, website management.
  • Demonstrates good levels of numeracy and computer literacy.
  • Development and use of databases.
  • Ability to work in a close team environment, making use of and supporting the actions of others to further the objectives of the business.
  • Highly organised with and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Self motivated and capable of operating independently within agreed guidelines.
  • Results driven with a can do attitude.


As a Engineering Sales Support your main responsibilities will involve:

  • Management of Product Portfolio:
  • Management of product database. This will include product application information as well as performance data.
  • Management of Released Product Information, datasheets, radiation patterns, test results.
  • Manage product obsolescence.
  • Product support to the sales team.
  • Management of product costings and price books.
  • Local support to exhibitions
  • Management of creation of marketing materials.
  • Population of the product database according to project plan.
  • Time to market for new product introductions.
  • Management of product and product information updates within agreed timescales.
