Service Desk Engineer

£20,000 - £28,000 DoE + KPI based bonus

Our business improvement client is seeking a Service Desk Engineer for their Gloucestershire offices. As a Service Desk Engineer it is your responsibility to ensure customers choose the right IT solutions for their business and deliver this in a professional manner.

You'll need to be as passionate about helping people, building relationships and providing an unbeatable service as our client is.

Responsibilities:
  • 1st and 2nd Line support
  • Answer the service desk phone and monitor the support mailbox
  • Create and update any incidents via the CRM system
  • Remotely troubleshoot IT related issues (Desktop, Server and Microsoft Cloud Services)
  • Administration support of customers Microsoft Office 365 portal
  • Administration of Microsoft Cloud Licenses with suppliers
  • Liaise with third party companies, i.e. Microsoft cloud, Dell, HP and Cisco
  • General Service Desk administration within the department

Skills/ Experience:
  • Innovative, with a flexible and energetic personality
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Administrative and inter-personal skills
  • Able to work under pressure whilst maintaining quality work
  • A-level or equivalent qualifications
  • Experience in I.T infrastructure installations would be advantageous
  • Minimum one Microsoft qualification and accreditation would be beneficial
  • Microsoft Office 2010+ knowledge
  • Microsoft Windows operating systems knowledge
