Location: Wolverhampton

Duration: Full time, on going

Salary: £60-75 per day

Requirements:

·SEND school-based Experience

·Valid 'Team Teach' qualification

·SEMH, SEBD, ASD, ADHD needs experience

·Available Immediately on a full-time basis

·Level 1 safeguarding certificate

·Recent school-based references

·Valid Photo ID - Driving Licence or passport

·Full DBS - registered on the update service

The School/role:

I am currently recruiting for an SEN teaching assistant to work within a PRU in Walsall for the full academic year.

You will be working with students with a mix of severe needs such as SEMH, SEBD, ASD and ADHD. Due to the severity of the needs you will need to have an in-date team teach qualification, have the certificate and be prepared to use it daily.

The school is a state-of-the-art facility, with brilliant facilities to ensure that you can provide the best support to students. You will need to help the pupils with their independence, social skills and core subjects to help prepare the students to integrate back into society and hopefully mainstream education.

In order to qualify for this role, it is imperative that you have a team teach qualification that is in-date and have the certificate.

The role will run on a full-time basis ongoing. A new enhanced DBS will be needed for this role or a subscription to the DBS update service.
