The Role

The Finance Manager will play a key role in the continuing growth and success of the company. Leading the finance function during an exciting period of transformation, he or she will interact closely with all departments developing value-added business partnering relationships. They will be a problem-solver able to implement innovative process improvements and efficiencies, making a commercially creative contribution towards the development of new business tenders and contracts. The finance manager will deliver sound financial analysis to support business-critical decisions in a way that is accessible to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Coach and develop the finance capability of direct and dotted-line reports; support team career development and maximise potential through objectives and performance conversations; achieve team cohesion
  • Head-to-head business partner, driving leadership team to form business performance management process that supports Blueprint achievement and results delivery
  • Pivot-point of head-to-head/FD relationships and owner collaboration, building internal network and leveraging it to harmonise processes
  • Ownership and delivery of financial process improvement roadmap; lead finance work stream delivery in business change projects; align priorities to the Blueprint and cascade across the business
  • Establish and drive reporting; lay process foundations that accommodate business growth; build confidence among senior leadership to become a trusted member on the market team
  • Provide proactive business support, identify barriers to execution, providing resolution and input feedback into improvement plans; effect change.
