Project Planner 6 Month Contract

Bracknell Berkshire

The WIP (Workday Implementation Project)

this programme exists to replace the current HR system , with Workday
The programme will be delivered in 3 phases; Phase 1 implements Core HR and Payroll, Phase 2 will add the Talent, Development and Learning functionality, and Phase 3 will decommission the old sytem.
  • Accountabilities:
    Programme and project detailed plan, and PoAP
    Programme resource plan
    Planning assurance
    Capture and tracking of internal and external programme and project dependencies
    Programme and project plan risk & issue management
    Programme Plan reporting e.g for steering group packs

    Support Project Managers with the creation and maintenance of Project plans.
    Plan reporting to support project and programme reporting requirements.
    Develop and maintain the programme resource plan, including managing cross-programme resource dependencies
    Support the Project and Programme Manager with alignment of internal and external dependencies across project and programme plans
    Identify and review Risks and Issues because of any slippage to the plan.
    Identify and review Assumptions on which the project and programme Plans are based.
    Regular project plan status updates and risks & issues, dependencies and assumptions to key stakeholders internally and externally
    Establish and maintain quality assurance processes to monitor the quality of project reporting and deliverables to drive improvements across the programme
    Work within the Programmes Planning Team to rollout and maintain smartsheets functionality.

    Skills required:
    Minimum 5 years planning experience
    Ideally experience of smart sheets
    Strong analytical and reporting skills
    Proficient in portfolio, programme and project plan risk and issue management
    Problem Solving
    Awareness of a range of project & programme management methodologies / approaches
    Confident communicator with stakeholders at all levels
    Location: Bracknell
