A fantastic opportunity to work for a leading training provider with a proven track record in the Training and Development sector. We are currently looking for a Support Officer to join or Job Centre Team.

The role of JCP admin support officer will be varied dependant on contracts and areas we will be working. With the numerous contracts we fulfil an organised, self-motivated and professional person is required to join a dedicated team. Confidence to speak to people from various backgrounds is an essential part of this important role.
The Role - This is a responsible role and will include the following:
  • Assisting Manager with referrals from Job Centre
  • Assisting Manager with course bookings
  • Booking and preparation of classrooms for course delivery
  • Carry out enrolment sessions for Job Centre learners
  • Completion of registration paperwork for Job Centre learners and entry onto Yeti, Share Point, Walled Garden and/or partner systems
  • To ensure all learners files are set up and maintained correctly
  • Liaising with other departments to ensure all parts of our provision are maintained (e.g. Hospitality for ordering lunches etc.)
  • Replenish and keep resources and paperwork accurate at all times
  • To take minutes of Job Centre meeting, tutor meetings and any other team related meetings
  • To ensure learners certificates are claimed in a timely fashion, contacted and then collected by learners with appropriate paperwork completed
  • Assist Job Centre tutors as and when necessary with admin tasks
  • Help to collate team data/stats
  • To keep the classrooms tidy and organised
  • To report directly to the Manager
  • Attend and promote NLTG at Jobs Fairs, Job Centre meetings etc
  • Liaise with contractors and ensure that paperwork meets contractual requirements

The successful applicant will ideally:
  • have 2-3 years experience in Administration
  • hold a Level 3 qualification
  • possess excellent organisational skills
  • be a team player but also able to work alone using initiative.
  • be able to prioritise
  • have excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • be able to conduct themselves in a professional manner in the office and with external bodies such as Job Centre Plus
  • use empathy and authority with learners
  • use discretion at all times
  • hold a current UK driving licence
