My client is a leading business process outsourcing company (BPO), who help organisations, to acquire customers, retain market share and improve operational efficiency.
They work with clients of all sizes and sectors, including the UK's top ten banks, leading utility providers, insurance and telecommunication companies.

The opportunity

My client is recruiting for an experienced Senior Operations Manager, to ensure operational requirements and service level agreements are met, whilst maintaining quality standards and contractual requirements in accordance with our client contracts.

You will be responsible for the retention and overall performance of a major contract for the business, and will contribute to the development of the site operations plan.

Your purpose
As an experienced Senior Operational Manager, you manage a large team of direct reports. You will responsible for resource management including; effective deployment of staff, objective setting, appraisals and identifying training needs for operational staff, managing staff absence and holidays.

You will monitor and review operational performance and address any issues. Complete annual performance review with employees and able to take action where there is persistent under-performance.

Your experience
Ideally you will come from a BPO, Banking or Financial services background. You will either be working currently at a senior level, or looking for your next step up. This is a challenging and high profile position, so previous experience in managing high value contracts is essential. With a minimum of 5 year experience as a team manager or above in Document Management / Payment Processing.

As a natural leader you will have previous experience managing large teams. Ensuring your teams take a logical approach to problem identification, solution workarounds, root cause investigation and lead participation in Post Incident Reviews
