Payroll Assistant - Beaconsfield - £23,000 - £26,000 per annum

The company

Opportunity for a Payroll Assistant to join a successful business in Beaconsfield and becomes a valued member of the payroll team.

The role

After a strong and busy start to the year, this well-established business now require a Payroll Assistant to join their team. Reporting into the Payroll Manager the Payroll Assistant will manage the end-to-end payroll processing for a portfolio of clients. The duties of the Payroll Assistant will include:
  • Preparation of bank payments
  • Liaise with directors and partners to arrange timely submission of payments
  • delivery of payroll outputs (P45s & payslips)
  • Submission of RTI returns
  • Accurately preparation of weekly payrolls
  • Covering peers with processing payrolls as absence cover and during payroll peak times
  • Preparation and management of database

What you'll need to be successful

With experience already gained and having already worked in a financial environment you will have experience in the above duties. Working in a team you will need to have:
  • Previous experience in payroll or a similar position
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to work quickly and accurately
  • Good communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Proficient Excel skills
  • A willingness to learn and take extra responsibilities
