Accounts / Expenses Administrator - Chertsey

Salary:- £10 - £11 per hour

Expenses administrator required with strong attention to detail to receive expenses, stamp and log them on an Excel spreadsheet and reconcile them. The role is varied and will cover the end to end process of expense management; receiving, verifying and processing expenses from employees and issuing receipts and recording transactions.

Duties include:-

  • Check all submitted expenses adhere to the company expenses policy and are within the HMRC guidelines.
  • Ensure supporting VAT documentation and receipts are submitted with the claim.
  • Prepare and / or make payments to employees for approved expenditures or refunds.
  • Maintain accurate records, prepare expense reports, and periodically balance expense ledgers.
  • Manage expense queries from employees and other adhoc duties.

Skills required

  • Expenses/accounts experience.
  • Efficiency in accounts processing.
  • Keen eye for detail with strong accuracy skills.
  • Excel and SAP experience preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills both internally and externally.
