My Exeter based client is looking to grow their team! Are you the next addition to their award winning team?

The Role:

Planning, implementation and delivery of multiple projects to timelines and costs within the company Change Management framework.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Plan, monitor and manage projects from initiation to delivery
  • Manage risk and uncertainty through decision making
  • Work closely with Head of projects to plan for cross project dependencies
  • Asses project performance and communicate lessons learned to increase knowledge
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder expectations, ensuring the right communications plan approach, principle of no surprises
  • Identifying, assembling and leading project resources from kick off to successful implementation
  • Maintain standard project documentation meticulously, no grey areas
  • Ensure project results meet business, technical requirements, schedule and cost
  • Create, monitor and manage projects budget
  • Work with delivery manager to slot implementation and delivery resources and activities
  • Provide advance warning of tasks impeding completion dates Monitor performance and recommend schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions
  • Deliver accurate and concise reports
  • Maintain governance information with PMO, adhering to project transition methodology
  • Work with Technical Solution architects and Business Analyst to ensure technical and business requirements are fit for purpose
  • Work with the training department to ensure that training material accurately reflects changes to systems and/or processes


The Ideal Candidate:
  • Degree on appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Highly experienced PM who has led IT and business change projects end to end
  • Extensive experience of business systems implementations
  • Software maintenance and development projects
  • Experience on software development methodologies, (i.e. Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall, iterative)
  • Strong stakeholder management
  • Experience evolving and maintaining Policy Administration systems desirable
  • ITIL service management
  • Experience managing policy administration systems desirable
  • Jira or similar tools
  • Familiar with software engineering techniques, continuous integration, build, deliver, test focused and other automated acceptance testing techniques
  • Proven track record of delivering against commercial time frames
  • Experience working with development teams
  • Insurance experience, preferably on the Protection market.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
