THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are looking for a Insurance Advisor Apprentice for one of our clients based in Leicestershire who are a leading insurance specialist who operate worldwide.

The purpose of the role is to assist the claims team by providing administrative support and collecting the information needed to provide an exceptional claims service to customers in the field of trade credit insurance. No previous experience required as full training will be given.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 35 hours per week.

THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recording overdue debt details reported by clients or their appointed representatives
Confirming insolvency events and setting up spreadsheets to collect data
Calling customers to collect data
General Administration
Setting up paying claims using bespoke IT system
Chasing customers information and refunds
Handling general email and telephone enquiries
Management of paperless filing system
Assisting with claim investigations
Mathematically checking claims
Other reasonable duties as instructed by the claims manager

EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

Educated to A Level standard / BTEC level 3 or equivalent
Min of 5 GCSE's or equivalent including Maths and English at grade 4/c or above
Numerate
Good written and verbal skills
Confident telephone manner and clearly spoken
Word processing and spreadsheet skills & working knowledge of Microsoft tools
