We have an exciting opportunity for an EH&S Officer to join a global leader in the manufacturing and industrial gas industry.

As the EH&S Officer, you'll provide support to facilitate the implementation of our client's EHS Management System and compliance with legislation across the UK and Ireland.

This will include training, Behavioural Safety coaching, workplace risk assessments and accident and incident investigation.

Main Duties:
  • Provide EHS specialist advice including training, site assessments, accident and incident Investigation.
  • Deliver EHS classroom training in accordance with objectives.
  • Provide ongoing BSP behavioural safety coaching and assessment for all levels
  • Facilitate the implementation of new or revised EHS Standards and training materials
  • Assist in ensuring that all incidents are adequately investigated.
  • Perform the duties of certified DGSA; monitoring performance, additional driver training.
  • Assist in developing bespoke risk assessments necessitated by high risk activity.

Experience required:
  • NEBOSH diploma or equivalent.
  • Engineering degree/qualification is highly desirable.
  • Excellence in communication and influencing.
  • Experience working in an EHS role, involved in leadership of behavioural safety.
  • In-depth understanding of ergonomics, pressure systems, working at heights etc.
  • Thorough understanding of plant operations, air separation, packages gases, CryoEase distribution.

The role sits within a small H&S team covering the whole of the UK & Ireland. Travel is essential however there is flexibility for home working and travel can largely be planned. Travel expenses will be reimbursed.
