Food Technology teacher (Northampton)

Full time Food Technology position available at a Northampton Secondary School! The school has been graded Good by Ofsted in their last two inspections and have recently achieved GCSE results above the national average. Senior leadership are seeking a candidate capable of teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 Food Technology. The successful applicant will join a modern and progressive Technology department consisting of 6 experienced subject specialists. The department are equipped with excellent facilities including a refurbished design block containing two state of the art Food rooms. This position is required from September 2019 and is likely to last for the full academic year - hereafter there could be the opportunity for a permanent position.

Staff members at the school are committed to their own development, and many take part in helping others to progress. In order to support this, the school run a number of training and development sessions as part of their extensive staff development programme.

Key information:

Pay in line with teaching scale point (£23,720 - £39,406 per annum)
September start with the opportunity for a permanent placement
