My client is a business that has undergone rapid expansion over the last 5-7 years. They need someone to help integrate all the new aquired businesses in to their operating model at operational, IT and business level. Integration is the key. Running and developing an integration team.

The role

Head of Integrations will lead the Integration team, supporting all new acquisitions, ensuring the efficient transition and successful joining to the company. This role will work collaboratively across the business to deliver the Integration plan ensuring that all acquisitions provide the agreed return on investment and clinical standards.

Key accountabilities
  • Manage the end to end integrations process for all new acquisitions
  • Support the Clinical Operations team in integrating acquired companies within agreed timelines and frameworks
  • Ensure that any newly acquired companies receive the appropriate support and infrastructure (i.e. IT, Freedom etc) within defined time limits
  • Engage and develop a high performing Integration team
  • Develop and support the Integration function to work as a team, and to share best practice and identify business development opportunities
  • Manage the performance of the Integration Management Team to ensure consistent high performance. Taking appropriate developmental action to improve performance where shortfalls occur
  • Identify and deliver best practice Integration initiatives for company
  • Identify challenges and work collaboratively with key stakeholders to reach appropriate solutions.

Management duties:
  • Lead Team Leaders including monthly1-2-1's, biannual Appraisal reviews and quarterly succession planning updates.
  • Through proactive management and development of the Integration team, maximising the performance of all acquired clinics.
  • Work collaboratively with the Head of Operations, Deputy Heads of Operations and Executive Team to deliver company strategic and financial objectives.
  • Design, develop and evolve the Integrations Strategy across the company.

Skills and experience
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience of managing mergers, acquisitions and large projects
  • Significant commercial experience of managing a P&L with a strong understanding of financial management

  • A highly effective communicator, someone who can inspire!
  • An engaging leader, who role models' great behaviour at all times
  • Experienced in mergers and integrations, who has the gravitas and commercial understanding to deliver outstanding performance
  • A problem solver who displays high levels of resilience
  • Excellent planning and prioritisation skills
