Payroll Manager - North West London - up to £45,000 plus extensive benefits.
We are looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to join this sought after media business in Perivale, north west London , who as well as being hands on in a manual payroll environment, will demonstrate excellent benefits and pensions knowledge as well as being able to take a wider commercial view and offer process improvements.

Currently the payroll is a fairly manual process in terms of information gathering and data entry, working extensively with Excel and Sage 50, so you will need to have experience and be comfortable working in an environment where there are no automated internal systems or manual timekeeping systems and show yourself to have strong attention to detail, good numerical and administration skills, as well as previous experience working with time and attendance systems.

In order to be suitable it is essential that you have hands on experience of administering and overseeing the company payroll, demonstrating excellent knowledge of benefits and a good understanding of how changes in salary affect the wider benefits and pensions. If your payroll experience consists of sending it out to a bureau, then your experience will not be right for the role. You should have good knowledge of Sage 50 and Excel.

There are circa 200 staff with a monthly payroll being done for the majority and a smaller fortnightly one in addition.

This is a rare opening to Head up Payroll in this successful business, working with only 1 report. It is a 35 hour working week and offers a salary £40,000 - £45,000, dependant on the skills and experience you bring to the role.
