We are looking for an experienced PPC Specialist to join our well-established client based in Bournemouth.


The purpose of your role will be to manage all paid search engine advertising for both the business and their eCommerce clients.

You will be responsible for managing all PPC activity from audits to new account builds and from strategy creation to ongoing optimisation. You will also be responsible for regularly communicating performance and progress directly to clients and the company's management team against agreed KPIs.

You must be passionate about PPC and Google Ads in particular. You should live and breathe it. You will own the PPC strategy for the business and its clients and should be assertive enough to drive through your strategic recommendations. You will have the opportunity to create your own working structure and develop the PPC offering over time in line with client needs and commercial goals.

  • Participate in forming effective paid search strategies.
  • Launch and optimise various eCommerce PPC campaigns.
  • Monitor and oversee accounts on search platforms like Google Ads.
  • Own keyword discovery, expansion and optimisation.
  • Create and develop strategies for audience creation and targeting.
  • Monitor budgets and adjust bids to achieve better ROAS.
  • Track KPIs to assess performance and highlight issues.
  • Produce status updates and reports for management and clients.
  • Write attractive and concise copy for adverts.
  • Brief designers internally and externally for the creation of display adverts.
  • Suggest and develop new campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Find ways to reduce the risk of click fraud and improve click quality.
  • Keep abreast of PPC and search marketing trends and best practice.
  • Develop PPC knowledge amongst other members of the wider team.
  • Create and undertake PPC reviews and audits for clients.
  • Research and analyse competitor strategy for clients and the business.
  • Work with developers internally and externally on technical requirements.
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content and any other commercial factors like product pricing to improve PPC performance.

  • Proven strategic and practical PPC experience.
  • Understanding of performance marketing and online customer acquisition.
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • In-depth experience with Google Ads, Bing Ads and Google Analytics.
  • Experience with third party PPC tools such would be useful.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets or equivalent.
  • Experience with practical A/B and multivariate testing.
  • Up-to-date with latest paid search trends and best practice.
  • General passion for the industry.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • General understanding of eCommerce and online user journeys.
  • eCommerce industry experience, particularly in a PPC role would be good.
  • Magento experience would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Experience with preparing and optimising product feeds for Google shopping.
  • Google Ads certification at a basic level is essential.
  • Analytical thinking with strong math skills.
  • Experience in audience building in paid search platforms like Google Ads.
  • Knowledge and experience of using the Google Display Network.
