Job Description:

There are endless opportunities out there for Financial Advisors who seek their next career move; employed and self-employed vacancies; some offer back office support, others offer client leads and some offer both. Time and time again I speak to Advisors who were sold a dream that is yet to be delivered upon.

If you are looking for an employed proposition, then I have the role that you have been looking for.

The role will see you service an existing book of clients, all of whom have an existing relationships with my client, but all of whom require someone to ensure that their financial plans remain suitable and appropriate for their financial needs.

The Advisor will discuss important topics such as retirement and later life planning, investments and inheritance tax planning as well as protection for clients and their families.

About the Company:

My client has been awarded 'Chartered' status, recognising their commitment to the highest level of ethical and professional standards. All employees are client focused and promote a culture of excellence across the business.

Since their inception 30 years ago, they have established excellent client relationships and now have close to £200m under management. Everyone is a point of contact within the team and clients are happy dealing with all employees at every level.

Their growth continues due to 'word of mouth' and reputation rather than through advertising, and my client is keen to continue providing advice on investment, pensions and protection to their existing client and their friends and family.

Key Skills/Experience Required:
  • In order to be considered for the role you will need to have experience of working in a similar role within an IFA or Wealth management environment.
  • You will need to hold the Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning, ideally be working towards chartered, and hold CAS status.
  • Ideally you will have worked in a client facing role for a minimum of two years previously and hold an enviable track record in a similar role.
  • You will need to have an all-round knowledge of investment, pension and protection products and have the soft skills required to build and maintain relationships, spot opportunities and plan for different client requirements.
  • My client is looking for someone as equally ambitious as the rest of the team to provide a client centric service as well as someone who values continual learning and development in the forever changing world of financial advice.

Salary/Benefits Information:

My client is looking to pay a salary of £40,000 - £60,000 depending on your experience and qualifications. Also on offer is Group life insurance, 5% pension contribution and 20 days holiday + bank holidays. Holidays increase 1 day per year of service to a maximum of 25 days holiday. Flexible working is considered for the right person.
