Our client is one the fastest growing promotional product distributors in the country. Their staff and management team have nearly a decade of experience in the world-wide promotional products industry.


A Full Stack Developer is required to help them take their software and web development in-house.

The Full Stack Developer will be primarily working on the company's localised websites, customer portals and help drive the development of the company CRM.

You will maintain and improve the current codebase and work to move to a new codebase with improved performance and maintainability.

The role will also help the IT Development team to drive better use of data through the organisation and assist in streamlining of business processes using technology.
Key responsibilities & duties:
  • Maintain and improve the performance of existing websites
  • Develop and implement new website version
  • Develop customer and supplier portals
  • Design and implement improvements of the CRM
  • Test and maintain websites and software products to ensure strong functionality and optimisation
  • Recommend improvements to use of technology and software
  • Regularly communicate progress and suggestions to management and technical team
  • Peer code review
Qualifications and skills:Essential:
  • Experience with PHP 7+, MySQL, MariaDB
  • JavaScript
  • A good understanding of Object-Oriented programming principles and practices
  • A working knowledge of architectural and design patterns
  • Experience of developing with PHP framework (pref. Laravel)
  • Able to work and communicate well as part of a multi-disciplined team
  • Understanding of UI, UX, Information Architecture, Cross-browser Compatibility and Responsive Web Design
  • Commercial experience in web and software development
  • Git and GitHub
  • AWS
  • Bootstrap
  • Experience in Agile development, SCRUM experience advantageous
  • Angular
  • Track record of developing modular, flexible and reusable systems
  • Knowledge of API Design, implementation and integration
  • CMS and eCommerce platforms - WordPress, Joomla!
  • Great communication and people skills
  • Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary
  • Strong attention to detail
