We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised Creative Artworker to join our in-house design team, based in Oak Furniture Land's UK head office in Swindon. Reporting to the Design Director and playing a vital role supporting the creative team, the ideal candidate will be ready to work in a fast-paced environment and have the necessary technical skills to produce high quality, accurate and on-brand print ready artwork.

Key responsibilities & tasks
  • Creation of digital assets for email, web and promotions
  • Independently delivering print ready campaign artwork across a range of media, predominantly for POS, signage and advertising, as well as for store mock-ups.
  • Generation of print ready artwork for product tickets.
  • Providing support to team members with creative processes when required.
  • Setting up documents to brief and specification.
  • Retouching, resizing and cropping of imagery as required.
  • Ensuring the completion of all allocated work in a timely and professional manner to deadlines.
  • Adhering to the brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all design work.
  • Communicating progress at every stage of the artwork process for the smooth running of projects and planning schedules.
  • Compliance with the company's quality management and file management systems with a methodical approach to archive management and file organisation.

Experience required
  • Design for digital platforms.
  • Relevant experience of working in a busy design studio.
  • Mac software proficiency in: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • A sound understanding of typography, layout, with a portfolio demonstrating a diverse range of print
  • Enthusiasm and passion for design, with a great eye for detail and a keen interest in current trends.
  • A positive attitude to the working environment with an appetite and commitment to success.
  • Ability to work to briefs and tight deadlines and on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comfortable with taking direction from internal stakeholders and willing to listen, learn and share ideas with the team.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
