An opportunity has arisen to join a ground handling company based at Heathrow Airport. At first this vacancy is to cover maternity leave for one year, but based on the company's future plans has the potential to become permanent. Please find below details regarding this exciting role:

Purchase Ledger

·Entering purchase invoices into Sage 50 accounts

·Uploading supplier payments

·Sending remittance advices to suppliers

·Reconciling supplier statements

·Dealing with supplier queries

·Reconciling timesheets & restaurant vouchers

·Credit card statement reconciliation

·Bank reconciliation (suppliers)

·Accruals & prepayments

·Assisting the yearly audit

·Ad hoc duties

Sales Ledger

·Recharge billing to airlines & upload invoices to IATA & Sage 50 accounts

·Cover the sales ledger function accordingly

Payroll

·E-mail correspondence (Employees/third parties etc)

·Collecting new starter forms and entering accordingly

·Tracking SMP/SSP etc

·Entering manual payments

·Bank holiday payments

·Send p45's/p60's/p11d's etc

Experience

·Sage 50 Accounts (Essential)

·Microsoft Office (Essential)

·Sage 50 Payroll (Desirable)

·Previous experience working in the airline sector (Desirable)

·Able to work autonomously

·Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

·Able to process large volumes of invoices
