An incredible opportunity for an experienced Community & Events Fundraising Manager to join a rapidly growing and recognised charity in Huntingdon has arisen. The charity are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference and motivated to increase charitable donations and income substantially.

You will be responsible for managing 2 community and events officers, so prior experience in management and motivating others is an essential skill for this position. You will also be personally responsible for building effective and long-standing relationships with community leaders, local ambassadors and organisations.

As your role oversees the events for fundraising, you will need to be proactive in developing growth by improving strategies to increase event participants and donorship. To do this, you will need to research, pilot and evaluate new challenges. You will also be responsible for managing the event budgets and will need to report on the income and expenditure.

The ideal candidate will need to have strong background in community fundraising and will be able to demonstrate success in raising income and show expertise when working alongside communications and marketing teams to promote and manage events.

If successful with your application, you will need to undergo a DBS check. It is also essential that you have a full UK driving licence as travelling is a vital part of this role.

This is a permanent and full-time position; however, you may be required to work some weekends and out of office hours.

Salary is £32,000 - £34,782 depending on experience.
