Job Description:
The group cat team is part of a wider Underwriting Risk and Reinsurance function that reports to the group CUO. The teams goals are:Define the risk appetite framework for cat perilsMonitor against internal and external limitsProvide cat bet analytics (bang for buck)Meet regulatory and rating agency reporting requirementsSet and oversee exposure management standards for the groupSupport capital modelling and RI analyticsWhat are you like to work for?Head of Catastrophe Exposure Management will be a new hireBiggest challenges the team will faceGetting buy in from, and co-ordinating the work of, multiple stakeholders across a diverse set of deliverablesWho will the candidate be working with- size/make up of teamThe team consists of one head of exposure management, one risk manager, one senior development analyst and three risk analysts.
