Within Ocado Supply Chain and Planning Function sits the Planning Analytics that crunches the vast amount of supply chain data to enable the planning team to make the right decisions. From picking orders in our automated warehouses, to our transport operations on the road, this team looks to maximise profitability whilst improving our customer offering. This can range from the short-term configuration of planning processes to long-term logistical strategy, shaping the future growth of Ocado.We have short reporting lines and low corporate overhead, which means your responsibilities will grow quickly as you prove yourself. This can be expected to include presenting to and engaging with senior management directly, including those at director level or above. Your analysis, insight and leadership will have a direct impact on the way Ocado operates and a measurable effect on the bottom lineWhat will you be doing?Using analysis to identify improvements to the business and driving these to completion. Monitoring, analysing and reporting on the efficiency and effectiveness of the Ocado operation, providing insights which drive better performance.Leading and driving projects across the business. Whether it is your own idea you are proposing or a project related to our Planning and Supply chain, you are helping, you will be involved in different projects across the business. Working closely with the Planning Team. This team will rely on you to provide them with up-to-date to and accurate data on our Warehouse operation, giving them insight on key KPIs. Ownership of key business metricsAbout youYou'll be an accomplished analyst manager with experience working in multi-function, fast-paced environments. Ocado is growing fast - and so can the demands of the business.Strong command of Excel, VBA and/or analytical SQL, or similar to these (e.g. SAP, SPSS, SAS, programming experience)Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
