A growing multi-site organisation based in Beaconsfield with an impressive turnover are looking for a Accounts Assistant to join them on a permanent basis. Working within an office that is very vibrant and full of personality and the successful candidate will have previously worked within finance and looking or currently studding AAT/ACCA/CIMA. The account team work with multiples areas of the business so confidence with speaking to all levels is required. The salary for this role is £18,000-£22,000

This role will have strict monthly reporting deadlines which need to be adhered to. The role will support Management Accounting, Purchase Ledger and Sales Ledger teams.

Main responsibilities for the Accounts Assistant will be:
  • Maintenance of Prepayments
  • Maintenance of Fixed Assets Register and depreciation calculations
  • Review and post petty cash
  • Monthly bank reconciliations
  • Run monthly PO and invoicing reports
  • Send out monthly Transaction Listings
  • Raise purchase orders across all sites
  • Completion of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Adhoc administrative duties

The ideal candidate will:
  • Be Studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA
  • Have basic understanding of accounting including debits and credits
  • Have some office experience preferred but not essential
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be IT Literate
