Bond Education Cambridge is looking to appoint a talented Science Teacher/ Instructor to teach in a small specialist school in Cambridgeshire Fenland.

The role is initially a fixed term contract for 2 terms, starting in October 2019.

The school work with students who have challenging behavior and emotional needs who have been excluded from mainstream education. Applicants must feel comfortable working in this type of setting as the role offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the learning of students who may otherwise go without a good education. Whilst challenging, it is also a hugely rewarding position.

The role may suit those with SEBD/ Special Needs experience, or experience of community outreach but also those who have worked with challenging behaviour in mainstream secondary or primary settings. We are happy to accept applications from NQT level right through to very experienced practitioners. You must be confident delivering GCSE/ AQA Synergy Science and have a passion for inspiring learners in the classroom.

The role would suit candidates with equivalent experience in similar settings but who might not hold QTS. If you are a talented teacher or instructor with transferable skills and experience you are also encouraged to apply. Perhaps you have worked with young people in youth services, young offenders, outreach or counselling settings.

Applicants will need to be available from October 2019 for an initial 2 term placement.
The role is commutable form Peterborough, Wisbech, March, Huntingdon, Chatteris, Downham Market, Kings Lynn and the surrounding area.
