1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer

polkadotfrog are currently recruiting for a Support Engineer for an internal IT Support Team where you will be part of a small team supporting a large team of internal users where the Support team are responsible for developing, installing and maintaining a range of services to support business systems and processes.

Within this new position which has opened due to an expanding team, you will be charged with providing telephone, email and desk side support on a wide range of requests. You will be hands on with the setup and bespoke configuration of desktops, laptops and telephony devices and have the opportunity to work with cutting edge audio visual and video conference systems.Applicants will have prior experience in a Support role where you have worked closely with users face to face and remotely and you will have proven experience working with Windows 7, Windows 10 and ideally experience of O360.

Minimum Requirements

  • Relevant experience in an IT Support role and in the management of support tickets
  • A passion for customer service and the desire to work effectively as part of a small team
  • Aptitude to learn and apply attention to detail within defined processes and procedures
  • Good interpersonal, communication, time planning, organisational skills and a can do positive attitude
  • Experience of supporting Windows 7, Windows 10 and Microsoft Office

  • Experience of supporting mobile iOS and Android devices
  • Experience of supporting Apple Macs
