Management Accountant - ACCA qualified - Food Manufacturing - FMCGManagement Accountant required to join a multi-million pound food manufacturing company in the West Midlands.The Company has achieved many benchmarks over the past 30 years, with an ambition today which remains undiminished with growth continuing at an impressive rate.As the Management Accountant you will be involved in product costings and efficiency savings to aid growth and profit. The role combines accounting, finance and management with leading edge techniques needed to drive successful business. Advising the Managers about the financial implications of business decisions to aid growth and profit.Responsibilities include:- Preparing reports, budgets, commentaries and financial statements- To provide business data and analysis to Managers to assist in decision-making and control- To be involved with product costings in a manufacturing environment working with Managers to analysis costs and revenues- Focus will be on the analysis and reporting of the Company's financial position to provide insight into business performance- To assist in the preparation of monthly Management Accounts, Budgets and Forecasts to aid business planning- You will be involved in cost analysis and cost reduction projects, competitor analysis, variance analysis, tender preparation and review, strategic planning, long and medium planning- Analysing information and using it to make business decisions- With the FD formulating business strategy to create wealth and shareholder value- Determining what information is needed by management and explaining numbers to non-financial managers- Advising Managers about the financial implications of projects- Explaining the financial consequences of business decisions applying accounting techniques to plan and budget- Monitoring spending and financial control- Identifying and managing risk- Conducting internal business audits- Presenting information to management teamSkills and experience required:- FMCG experience- Good commercial understanding to advise Managers- Excellent interpersonal skills to forge positive working relationships- Keeping to deadlines- Having firm knowledge of accountancy standards- Strong modelling and analysis skills- Attention to detail and the ability to work logically, consistently and accurately- Excellent numeracy skills combined with an inquiring analytical mind- Good working knowledge of accounting information, while keeping up to date with changing financial rules and regulations- Self-motivation and excellent time and project management skills- Accuracy and eye for detailIf this sounds like an opportunity of interest then apply now.
