Registered Nurse RNLD/RGN/RMN

Salary: £32,112 pa

Hours: 38.5 per week

The role:

We are looking to recruit a full time nurse working on a flexible days/nights/weekends shift pattern for our care village in Market Harborough.

This multi registered nursing/residential care village provides care for 137 clients whose needs are associated with age, frailty, physical, mental, sensory impairment, dementia and end of life needs.

The successful candidate will work alongside an existing team with two Clinical Leads for support, to ensure delivery of an excellent standard of care which promotes independence, dignity and respect and positively enhances the lives of clients living within our care homes.

Duties and responsibilities:
  • Take responsibility for direct nursing care for clients designated as requiring nursing care, visually assessing needs daily and delivering interventions as required.
  • Support, plan, and deliver high-quality person-centred care through the care planning process, championing independence and person choice.
  • To work within the NMC Code and CQC standards alongside Prime Life internal policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and best practice guidance.
  • Assist in all aspects of medicine management, ensuring medicines are appropriately received, stored, administered and disposed of.
  • To assist in effective auditing and undertaking of corrective action as required by the Clinical Lead/Care Home Manager.
  • To participate in daily handovers with care and nursing staff, taking the lead for nursing clients, sharing information as required.

Application requirements:
  • Nursing qualification and current NMC registration
  • Strong clinical experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Writing, recording and reporting skills
  • It is essential that you are prepared to take on an active role supporting the operation of a 24hr business.
  • Previous experience of working in care setting.
