Salary: £30,563 - £36,499 pa (pro rata for part time and sessional)
Hours: 18 per week

Rowanfield School is a high quality, fit for purpose Primary School (Special) situated in the North of Edinburgh. It provides a multi-agency service for children with complex social, emotional and behavioural needs.

We are looking for a Business Manager to join our Senior Leadership team, which consists of 1 Head Teacher, 1 Depute Head Teacher, 1 Principal Teacher and 1 Business Manager.
The Business Manager post supports the Head Teacher in all matters of staffing, HR, health, safety, procurement, budget, finance and other administrative tasks. The Business Manager is responsible for Business Support within the school and acts as line manager to the School Administrator.

The successful candidate will be able to multitask in a busy environment, while working closely with the Senior Leadership team. Good IT skills and knowledge of finance and workforce systems along with experience of managing both budgets and finance.
Experience of working in a school is desirable but other relevant experience will be considered.

Salary is pro rata based on hours worked per week (18) and weeks worked per year (40), which equates to 0.46 of the full time salary.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range. For roles in grade 5 or above, annual increments in our contribution zones are dependent on achieving agreed performance goals.
