Summary

We work differently to other care providers.

Join our expanding team, help us to keep growing and grow with us.

We're looking for a Team Leader for our Operations Team.

Our Ops Team
  • Recruit our caregivers
  • Schedule and coordinate all our visits for new and existing clients
  • Perform our month end processes to invoice clients and pay everyone

You'll lead and support your team in all of this and have responsibility for some specific aspects of scheduling to help our existing coordinator.

You'll probably have experience of working in the office of a homecare service, including experience of scheduling to coordinate client visits.

Alternatively, you'll be an experienced team leader, perhaps from another sector, with the ability to pick up scheduling quickly.

You'll be able to demonstrate
  • Attention to detail
  • A passion for quality
  • Good planning and organisational skills
  • The ability to get on with different people, motivate and lead your team
  • A flexible, positive approach to work
  • The ability to meet both quality and performance goals

No specific qualifications are required.

Sound like you? We'd love to discuss this opportunity for you to take your career to the next stage with Home Instead.

Company Description

At Home Instead we're passionate about addressing social isolation through our companionship-led, relationship-based care and support. We help our elderly clients to live well at home and keep visiting the people and places they love for longer.

Andrew and Joanna established Home Instead in Edinburgh in 2011 with the aim of providing the type of care they would want for their own parents. In the years since then we have consistently grown - both in size and reputation - and our aim remains the same.

We work differently to other care providers.

All our visits are for two hours or longer which reduces the complexity of what we do and really allows us to prioritise quality over the logistics of care.

We match our caregivers and clients based on shared values, hobbies and interests. For each client, according to their needs, we agree a bespoke tailored combination of Companionship, Home Help and Memory Care, plus any assistance they might require with Medication and other Activities of Daily Living.

Our commitment to be an employer of choice is matched by the commitment of the many great people who work with us. In our annual independently run staff survey 96% of our CAREGivers said they are proud to work with us & 100% said they would recommend our services.

Our beliefs, approach and above all the caring and compassionate nature of everyone who works with us are consistently recognised in the excellent feedback we receive from our clients and the Care Inspectorate, who have given us top marks for the quality of our care for three consecutive years.
