Our client, a leading consultancy based in Newcastle, are looking for an Assistant Cost Manager to strengthen their existing team. Working on real estate projects, you will be reporting into the Real Estate Director.

You will be joining the Real Estate team of 16 and working on projects from student accommodation to universities to retail centres.

Hours of work are flexible but contracted hours are 8:30am-5pm with a 1 hour lunch break.

KEY EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE

Evidence of real achievement outside the academic sphere (i.e. sporting, artistic, musical, community, charity, world tour)
Relevant cost management work experience gained on a sandwich course or during a year out would be helpful
Knowledge and understanding of at least the basics of simple construction
At least basic knowledge and ideally some experience of utilising systems (IT and other) and processes in order to effectively deliver a project or piece of work

EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS

Good 'A' level (or equivalent) results
