Evolve are recruiting for a global, leading Pharmaceutical organisation with a new opportunity for a resilient individual to join their fast-growing Neurology team. This individual will be based at our clients head office in Hertfordshire and will work as Senior Brand Director covering EMEA. The role will lead, design and implement the brand specific marketing strategy and operational plans for a first-class product to treat Epilepsy across EMEA, tailoring to specific customer groups. This will involve line management responsibility for an EMEA Brand Manager.
Essential RequirementsYou will have proven experience and success in a specialist area, preferably Neurology or Epilepsy.EMEA experience is highly desirable, but not essential. However candidate will be considered without this if they have strong leadership experience and demonstrable examples of working on cross-country projects.Demonstrable marketing excellence in a variety of areas with strong examples of own creativity.Strong knowledge of the product and market.Proven cross-functional EMEA working and a track record of success in an 'above country' role demonstrating brand sales growth through specific project initiation, management, and follow-up.Demonstrable experience and success working in a matrix environment.
Role ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement the EMEA Epilepsy brand strategy taking into consideration the overall epilepsy portfolio.Lead EMEA Epilepsy brand team and support local marketing teams especially for Epilepsy product Brand Planning in collaboration with the local Epilepsy Business Unit Heads, Brand Directors, Med Affairs etc.Work closely with the countries to support excellence; consistency of implementation and their ability to hit BP.Ensure valuable content shared at the bi-monthly marketing / medical webex to enhance best practice and insight sharing, and help support mid-sized markets.Lead the development of all key materials for the brand and empower affiliate teams to adapt, execute and implement in an aligned way (e.g. brand awareness materials, sales aids, promotional materials, international scientific congresses, closed meetings, etc.) Create powerful resonating and consistent brand messages which define the brand. Ensure that all brand strategy, messaging and guidance are consistent with the model and integrate feedback from the countries.Liaise effectively and efficiently with Medical Affairs and external agencies (medical communications and creative) complying with Company SOPs and Codes of Practices. Manage and control sales forecasts, demand forecasts and brand budget allocations by working closely with the Finance teams and the Demand Chain Systems teams. Ensure that projects proposed by countries are on strategy; reflect best practice and represent value for money with a clear return on investment.
