12 Month Temporary Finance Admin role available to start on September 02nd working within the Civil Service.

The Revenue Team is responsible for the invoicing and collection of fees and charges from industry. The team also provides reports and information to Senior Management and liaises with other teams within the organisation.

This is a key Finance role, contributing towards the target of full cost recovery by:
  • Creating and issuing sales invoices for fees and charges within agreed timescales;
  • Corresponding with customers to ensure timely payment of invoices and responding to customer queries;
  • Managing customer accounts to ensure accurate record keeping and efficient processes

The Accounts Payable team is responsible for processing and analysing:
  • purchase invoices from suppliers
  • staff expense claims, as well as advising staff on allowances,
  • committee fees & expense claims,
  • customer receipts.

This involves recording expenditure to the correct cost categories, ensuring invoices and claims are appropriately authorised and paid within strict deadlines, ensuring that receipts from customers are allocated to the correct customer account.

As this is a Government position, Brook Street would need to apply for a DBS on your behalf.
