Headquartered in Fareham UK, Raymarine is a division of FLIR Systems, a world leader in thermal imaging.Purpose:Assist with the processing of EMEA and APAC payrolls to ensure complete and accurate payments, accounting, reporting and compliance. Covers other EMEA and APAC regionsJob Responsibilities:Provide monthly inputs to payroll providers in UK and other EMEA and APAC regions. Inputs include starters and leavers, pay changes, pension changes, commissions, annual bonus, overtime, allowances, withholding taxes and travel allowances.Check monthly payroll calculations supplied by payroll providers. Document explanations of changes from previous month.Prepare payment documentation including net pay, tax, social security and pension. Obtain appropriate authorisation of paymentsComply with UK HMRC obligations including preparation of complete and accurate annual returns including P11D Expenses and Benefits, P60 tax and PSA1 PAYE Settlement Agreement.Comply with other legal obligations including automatic enrolment and payment of pension deductions.Answer payroll queries (from employees, managers and institutions) clearly and accuratelyProvide support and guidance on payroll matters to colleagues in Finance and in Human Resources.Prepare monthly payroll journalsOther ad hoc duties as requiredKey Skills and Competencies required: Care and attention to detail essentialGood time management skills essentialNo formal accounting or payroll qualification requiredExperience in UK payroll role preferredNo international payroll experience required - on the job training will be providedDiscretion with confidential informationKnowledge of end to end UK payroll processing and payroll obligationsGood communicatorFLIR and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
