Due to the success of our busy Secondary branch in Derby, we are looking to build up a pool of Cover Supervisors in Derby ready for the next the academic year and are able to offer guaranteed work schemes to suitable candidates.
Several of Celsians partner secondary Academies and schools in Derby require us to provide a number supply Cover Supervisors for the new academic year starting September 2019. Due to increased demand from this particular school and other nearby schools in area, we urgently require Cover Supervisors to facilitate this need.

What does a Cover Supervisor do?

Cover supervisors are responsible for managing the lessons when the class teacher is absent for the day. This involves making sure that the class is following the work that the teacher has set for them in the lesson plan and also making sure behaviour is excellent by following the school's behaviour policy.
Lesson plans are always already set; it is the job of the cover supervisor to engage the entire class in a way that means the work set is completed with minimal disruption.
