What are you going to do?

Position/Title:GLAccountantDepartment: Finance
Location:SilverstoneDrive, CoventryReports to:AssistantHead of Reporting

Function
Supportthe Assistant Head of Reporting to communicate and report all financialinformation relative to the EMEA entities.
Keyactivities and responsibilities
•Support financein the performance of key general ledger activities in order to complete monthend activities and related functions

•Communicate withinternal and external audit, and tax departments as required.

•Assist with thepreparation of external Statutory and Taxation submissions.

•Assist with thesubmission of month end reporting to GES US.

•Assist with monthend close processes.

•Record fixedassets additions, disposals, and depreciation.

•Improve anddevelop fixed assets and inventory procedures, including physical verification.

•Reconcilingintercompany accounts.

•Prepare and enterCommission and MIP accrual, and tax and bad debt provision journals.

•Prepare month endaccounts to completion.

•Prepare and enterrelevant month end journals.

•Prepare and entermonthly petty cash and cashbook journals.

•Actively engagein continuous improvement ensuring suggestions and opportunities arehighlighted to your line manager.

•Demonstratecommitment to the core values of the company.

•Take aparticipative role in the company's sustainability initiative and ensure, wherepossible, your actions support the achievement of this initiative; reuse,recycle and replenish.

•Ensure compliancewith all health and safety, corporate, client and legislative standards acrossthe function.

You will be required to develop andmaintain positive and progressive working relationships both internally andexternally, in order to facilitate growth and integration across the business.
Salary
This is a full-time role offering acompetitive salary, dependent on experience.

We operate a reward strategy based onour team members receiving a salary that best reflects their experience andskill level.
Hoursof work
A 37.5 hour week working Monday toFriday, typically between the hours of 8.30 - 5.00 (with one hour unpaidlunch).

You may be required to work eveningsand weekends during busy periods in order to meet the demands of the business,including overseas travel as required.
Annualleave
Our holiday entitlement is 25 days perannum (plus bank holidays and statutory public holidays).
