We are currently looking for Logistics Strategy Specialist to support the delivery and development of Distribution Strategy through the TJX Europe supply chain including PC's and FC's, supporting the business for future store and e-com growth.

As part of the role, you will build and develop tools and models in Excel to support the ten year Distribution forecast, taking responsibility for ensuring these models are updated regularly and assumptions are reviewed in partnership with all key stakeholders including GM's, 3PL's and Finance.

Models can include:

- Unit projections by Handling Type by PC/FC

- Headcount forecasts driven by unit need and productivity

- Non merch need forecasts driven by unit need and vessel fill

- Storage need forecasts driven by unit need

- FC receiving, picking & packing by unit need

- Photo studio need

You will also be responsible for providing analysis against models and suggesting improvements to ensure greater accuracy in future. You will give recommendations based on models for future supply chain requirements and opportunities as well as deliver & drive set personal objectives in line with organization's goals, growth and strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • A subject matter expert and point of contact for Strategy forecasting models for all business partners
  • Develop the strategy scope by defining and developing new Excel models. Provide forecasts, being comfortable working in the grey and provide clarify to business partners.
  • Improve the information provided by partnering with stakeholders or through identifying gaps in current modelling and ensuring expectations of stakeholders are met. This will include modelling work for both PC's and e-com FC's.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including 3PL's, PC Management and Project Managers to regularly update models and assumptions
  • Support wider Distribution operation with ad-hoc analytical requests
  • Own sign-off of assumptions behind the models and identifying improvement opportunities based on feedback and trends throughout the year and validate with key stakeholders
  • Represent a Strategy point of view on projects, giving input on links to other areas, innovative ideas and long term impacts.
  • Work closely with Long Term Planning and Finance to ensure plans are aligned to the Distribution budgets
