Redmill Consulting's prestigious client is current looking for a Credit Controller for an exciting permanent position in Edinburgh City Centre. This position will ideally suit a Credit Controller working in the legal sector or for a professional services organisation. The job of Credit Controller will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following:
  • Chasing & collect outstanding debt, in line with company policy & procedure
  • Meeting company targets based upon value & volume of debt
  • Liaising with a wide variety of stakeholders ensuring cost effective & quick collection of outstanding debt
  • Responsible for incoming remittances in payment of bills & all enquiries relating to this
  • Preparing & providing clients with regular statements of outstanding debt
  • Maintaining debt reports, using these to provide management reporting on outstanding debt
  • Assisting management in the development & adherence to an effective credit policy
  • Responsible for query management


As Credit Controller you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following:
  • Demonstrable experience in carrying out most of the duties listed above
  • Legal or professional services sector experience would be preferred, but not essential
  • Strong communication experience both verbally & in writing
  • Enthusiastic, with an attention for detail is essential
  • Capable of working in a team but also on your own initiative
  • Strong organisational skills are essential
  • Comfortable using MS Office, including MS Word, MS Excel & MS Outlook
