Job Title: Administration Manager, Ardmore Education Limited (AEL)

Reports to: Business Development Manager

Location: Bournemouth. Office based with flexibility for Home-working.

JOB PURPOSE

To supervise the day-to-day running of the Ardmore Education Limited team together with supporting Local Organisers to ensure the delivery of high-quality Academic Year programmes (AYP) and Social Integration programmes (SI) for junior international students.

To support the Business Development Manager assisting in the achievement of AYP & SI sales, procedural and service objectives. Assisting with promoting and selling AYP & SI programmes to agents and the smooth implementation and running of all bookings received with agents, schools, Social Services and Local Organisers.

SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES

Where necessary share appropriate information with professionals and/or colleagues as may be required to keep everyone safe.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Supervise Ardmore Education Limited team.
  • Process student applications and admissions to UK schools.
  • Coordinate all aspects of student educational and pastoral requirements within laid down policies, procedures and UK Law.
  • Adhere to the Private Fostering Act with Local Organisers by ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and submitted within laid down time-scales.
  • Develop new business relationships and brand awareness.
  • Manage schools and International Educational Agents expectations of requirements and guardianship services provided.
  • Check, authorise and process invoices in a timely manner.
  • To train and have day to day supervision of Local Organisers situated in offices nationwide.
  • Provide practical and appropriate support to students and Local Organisers.
  • Deal with complex matters concerning VISA Regulations and documentation required as well as ELTS requirements in schools.
  • Ensure all airport transfers and coaches are booked within budget and in accordance with flight details for all students.
  • Maintain Sales, Booking and Operational Management System.
  • Present Ardmore Group to potential clients through direct communication in face to face meetings, telephone calls, Skype and emails.
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
  • Maintain a full and accurate student database.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS

Motivated, conscientious and innovative with ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload, to work under pressure, meet deadlines and adapt work patterns according to situational need.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability and willingness to work collaboratively within a busy team and key stakeholders.

Ability to make decisions and offer guidance and advice to all stakeholders.

Ability to judge when to raise concerns or refer issues to Business Development Manager and Ardmore Directors.

Expert knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and governing multiple programmes simultaneously, including risk management.

Managing administrative procedures and processes.

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel, MS Outlook, PowerPoint.

Flexible and adaptable.

Ability to work as part of a team and on your own.
