Who We Are Looking For

The Group General Insurance Coordinator will support the Group General Insurance Manager in the operation and administration of the Group's corporate and international general insurance programme, supporting the maintenance of appropriate level of general insurance coverage in-line with KCAD Group Insurance Policies and Procedures, business strategy and operational requirements meeting legislative and contractual requirements.


    Support the implementation of Group's general insurance programme at corporate and international level and ensure continual compliance with local legislative and contractual insurance requirements
    Maintain records of Group's corporate and international general insurance policies
    Support placement of any ad-hoc / project-specific general insurance coverage
    Collect and analyse data for Group's annual general insurance renewal; follow-up with the business on required information to achieve best value insurance cover;
    Support Group General Insurance Manager in preparation of annual submission to the general insurance market and Group general insurance renewal report for Risk Management Committee and Audit Committee on annual basis
    Build effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders and external general insurance advisors, including brokers, insurers and loss adjusters as may be appropriate
    Evaluate and act upon general insurance claim notification, coordinating necessary claims data collection and liaising with all necessary stakeholders in order to streamline claims processing
    Provide timely updates, reports and advice to relevant stakeholders about actual claim status and general insurance premiums as may be necessary
    Respond to day-to-day queries from KCAD departments in respect of perceived risks versus Group general insurance coverage
    Occasional business related travel required

    Key Skills & Experience

      Ideally graduate level (a degree in relevant subject area (Commerce, Legal or Finance) an advantage)
      Ideally some experience of the insurance industry
      Must be a self-starter, ability to work on own initiative
      Strong personal organization and planning skills
      Good eye for detail and analytical skills
      Good communication skills and ability to face challenge from stakeholders
      Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team
      Knowledge of German language is an advantage
      Competent knowledge of Microsoft Packaging (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
