Vision for Education is looking to appoint an experienced school teacher to work within a SEMH setting in the Oldham area. The role is open to qualified teachers who have worked within mainstream, SEMH, PRU or Alternative provision schools. The successful applicant will be required to work 3 days per week.

The role

This role is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with the right character to educate children who had difficulty learning in a mainstream education setting. The perfect candidate will be able to engage students and demonstrate the ability to teach multiple subjects as timetables can vary within SEMH settings.

The school

This school is well organised and has a caring, nurturing approach to educating students with additional social, emotional and mental health needs. The school requires teaching staff who can manage difficult and challenging behaviour exhibited by pupils. The successful candidate will have access to full support from experienced teaching staff within the school.

Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment
