KS2 Teacher / KS2 Teacher Needed!

An opportunity has arisen for an exciting KS2 teacher / Key Stage 2 teacher in Sheffield. Are you looking for an exciting challenge in a vibrant primary school? Are you a committed and passionate KS2 teacher / Key Stage 2 teacher? Do you create exciting and captivating lessons that ensure great rates of progress?

An Ofsted rated 'good', 2 form primary school in Sheffield, S13, are looking to appoint a KS2 teacher / Key Stage 2 teacher to start following the summer break covering a maternity absence. This 'outstanding' school use regular day to day cover also, so once you have made an exceptional impression on the head then they will want you back for alternative cover. Interviews for the role will be starting immediately for a right candidate. Planning and preparation for the first 3 weeks has been completed giving you a period to assess the ability of the children and then full responsibilities will be picked up until the end of the spring term with the possibility to extend longer.

The Head Teacher is looking for someone with excellent classroom management, who teaches with an enthusiastic yet nurturing approach and has high expectations of learning. Experience within Y6 is not necessary. You will be working alongside a year group partner to share planning, assessment tools and resources to reduce the work load. The school prides itself on the best working conditions as possible for its staff in order to foster the most positive environment as possible. The school does not have much significant EAL or SEND needs but the children can be a little challenging in terms of behaviour however there will be extra support in all classrooms to ensure that it does not become as disturbance.
