We are looking for an experienced highly motivated, people and customer oriented leader to join the IKEA Sales Leadership Team. If you are passionate about the customer experience, working in a fast paced environment and want a career at IKEA, then this is the role for you.

As the Sales Team Leader, you will support our customers shopping experience, through your everyday customer focus and genuine passion for coaching and inspiring your team.

• A thirst in working in a warehouse environment and stock management.YOUR RESPONSIBILITIESAs the Sales Team Leader, you will be responsible for the day to day sales floor operation and supervision of co-workers to ensure commerciality and to secure a great customer shopping experience.

You will be responsible for leading your team to maximise sales and profitability in your area of responsibility, using knowledge of the IKEA product range and services, local market conditions and the needs of customers.

You will be expected to be responsible for the following:

• Ensuring your department is in an excellent shape as new, fully and efficiently stocked with the four merchandising basics in place at all times and that the IKEA
product range is presented in ways that inspire and satisfy customers.
• Ensuring your team has all the correct knowledge about the product range in your department and the IKEA services so that they can share this with IKEA customers to
improve their overall shopping experience.
• Understanding the different IKEA sales and communication channels and IKEA know-how in order to make the best commercial use of this information for different
customers.
• Act quickly on commercial opportunities; changing availability of products (overstock and out of stock) knowing your competition and monitoring customer feedback
• You develop your team and its individual members and ensure you have a succession in place.ABOUT THIS WORK AREAThis is a physically demanding role, with a high level of customer service, paired with the operations of our fast-paced environment.
As our store operates 7 days per week, closing at 9pm every day, the successful applicant must have availability to work every second weekend and some closing shifts.
This is a permanent full time position.
