Do you want to enable educators and students to teach and learn the newest tools around cloud-based design and collaboration, additive manufacturing and generative design? If so, we want to hear from you. This role is responsible for driving awareness and adoption of our newest Autodesk technologies at Universities throughout UK. You will develop effective working relationships with Deans, Department Chairs, Professors and administrators within the education sector, but also with student organisations and teams in order to build networks and communities, making our solutions visual and increasing the adoption into the curriculum without the hard sell. ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate ability to earn customer respect as a trusted advisor and thought leaderSupport overall Education team efforts in the development and delivery of special events, training and on-campus activitiesRecruit and support student representatives at assigned education institutionsWork with product development divisions to understand technical trends, thought leadership messaging and ongoing product updatesInitiate and maintain collaborative relationships with key education partners and professional organizationsLeverage team technical expertise in appropriate software workflowProvide monthly metric reports on progress toward goalsMinimum Qualifications BS degree in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Design. MS, PhD or MBA helpful Exposure to Higher Education - Adjunct Professor would be idealKnowledge of 3D Design software: Autodesk Fusion 360 and/or Inventor, SolidWorks or other competitive products - ideally from commercial/sales experienceProven ability to develop strategic relationships with education customers and industry partnersConfident at presenting and discussing industry workflows and practices as well as their application in the academic environmentProven ability to influence others and drive results in a matrix organizationAbility to build rapport with a wide variety of internal and external constituentsAbility to use multiple presentation tools and techniques, adapting/fitting them to audience and topicOutstanding communication skills, including the ability to explain issues in a clear, concise, and logical mannerCapacity to work independently and as part of a geographically distributed groupAbility to travel 40% of time to educational institutions, conferences and other education-related eventsAbout AutodeskWith Autodesk software, you have the power to Make Anything.
