Sewell Wallis are currently partnering with a highly acquisitive growing group of companies based in South Leeds who are on an exciting and unique growth journey.

They have created the new role of an Interim Senior Management Accountant to work closely under the Financial Controller. This role requires someone who is eager to get out into the business and partner closely, whilst challenging, key senior stakeholders.

As the Interim Senior Management Accountant, you will report into the Financial Controller and your responsibilities will include the following:-

-Produce and consolidate the monthly management accounts for the group.
-Ensure operations understand their budget models and are aware of any cost saving opportunities across the business that could be made
-Strong focus around reconciling consignment stock
-Tracking of margin variances posted to balance sheet accounts
-Reconciling stock control accounts to general ledger.
-Preparation forecasts, budgets and tenders for new business
-Develop and improve KPI reporting across the company to help improve company performance
-Detailed overhead variance analysis

To be considered for this position you need to be a hands on Management Accountant that has ideally worked within an SME environment. This is an ongoing role until the position is recruited permanently, therefore there is a great opportunity for the right individual to stay long term.

You will need to be a qualified accountant who is available immediately.
