Main Purpose of the Job:

To deliver the day to day operational requirements to support the production of the Private Client Investment Report. Each Client Report contains information specific to that Client. This will involve managing data sources, workflow processing and contributing to the ongoing development of client reporting software/systems and its capability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the delivery of the Private Client Investment Reporting on a quarterly basis, to a growing number of Private Clients (currently 600+ unique reports, with a target of over 6,000)
  • Be a core user of the reporting software - VRS - 'Vermillion Reporting Suite'. This requires having a technical aptitude for developing the existing output to meet evolving Partner/Client needs.
  • Act as a point of contact for Partners with reporting enquiries and help manage these through to resolution
  • Support the acquisition of data into VRS from a variety of different feeds from SJP core systems and other sources
  • Assist in the workflow processes required to produce reports for onward distribution to printers and SJP document management systems
  • Ensure accuracy of report content and format, by maintaining existing process controls. This also includes sample checking reports as well as identifying likely exceptions due to potential system limitations

Required Skills:
  • Experience of, or aptitude for, managing and analysing large data sets
  • Strong numerical competency, to be able to understand performance principles and calculations, with a desire to develop this knowledge
  • High levels of attention to detail
  • An understanding of financial planning principles and different investment strategies would be beneficial
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills

Special Requirements:

Although a Cirencester based role, there may be a requirement to visit Partners in the UK from time to time to gather feedback and work collaboratively on report development.
