Our client, one of the leading restaurants in Essex, is looking for an exceptional PA to assist with the preparation of employment contracts, correspondence associated with the payroll process and bookkeeping, dealing with suppliers and to help with all other general admin.

We would like you to bring the following skills and personal qualities to the team;
  • Excellent attention to detail, the ability to plan and prioritise a varied workload within strict deadlines, and to work with initiative and purpose
  • Experience in working with payroll and basic bookkeeping
  • Basic understanding of HMRC statutory payments (maternity, paternity, sickness payments), tax coding, rewards and benefits
  • Strong, confident communication skills (written and oral)
  • Accuracy and reliability, with a passion for getting things right
  • Sound knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook

Ideally we are looking for candidates who have either worked in bookkeeping environment, or PAs who have worked in a capacity where they have been exposed to payroll and some accounts responsibilities.

Location and Hours

You will be based in the office, with core hours Monday to Friday 09:00 - 18:00, but with flexibility to meet the needs of the business as required on occasions.
